This week we will be talking about a rarely discussed style of gothic fashion- White Goth. While most goths choose to dress head to toe in black, the same striking look can be achieved by wearing only white. For the style to attain a level of spookiness, white goths often incorporate lots of lace, cloak themselves in white veils, and contrast with heavy, dark makeup and jewelry. The fashion’s roots can be traced to artists such as The Damned, Tones on Tail, and Cocteau Twins. White goth fashion draws many subcultures of goth, but is most frequently seen amongst Deathrockers, Vampire Goths, and Victorian Goths.
