This was an episode (at the time of posting this still the latest) on David Bowie’s early career and first two albums. They are both titled “David Bowie” and really set the stage for a very varied musical canvas. You can listen anywhere you get podcasts, but I post the videos to YouTube as well.

It’s been a long time since I’ve put out a long retrospective like this…well here it is. The first podcast I’ve done that is also a video. I like how this turned out, but I have a lot of ideas going forward that will make it a bit different. I hope you enjoy finally getting a new podcast. We’re working on some more already.
We cover the often underrated and very misunderstood Lords of the New Church. A supergroup with members of The Dead Boys and The Damned. Truly a unique band with a very unusual tone .We cover the Debut Album [1982], Is Nothing Sacred? [1983], The Method To Our Madness [1984], and Hang On [2003].

One of the most popular album associated with goth music, a pinnacle of effects laden sad music, a collection of Robert Smith’s tear-drenched jingles resulting from a midlife crisis…well maybe something like that.
Did you know I first started reviewing The Cure’s albums in 2015? I can’t believe it’s been almost 5 years. I think outside of the podcast I’ve covered a total of 2 (Three Imaginary Boys & 17 Seconds), but I’ve done different books and other topics relating to the band. I’m always hesitant to cover their albums because it’s such a popular topic and they mean so much to fans.

In this episode we continue our review of the The Cure’s career as we discuss the trajectory of their music over the course of the mid to late eighties. We begin by our review with The Top [1984] and end with Disintegration [1989]. This half of the decade was a huge critical and commercial success for the band and generated many hits that are still popular on modern radio today. It was also a time where the band was defining their signature sound that many think of when discussing The Cure.

It’s time to talk about the always controversial Sisters Of Mercy. We discuss each of their studio releases from First and Last and Always to Vision Thing and even their compilations albums from the nineties. The Sisters are a band hard to disassociate from front-man Andrew Eldritch and the discussion does delve into his infamous decisions throughout the band’s career.
